A. Nationality by marriage: the nationality can be declared after 4 years of marriage with a French person and is subject to other conditions such as:
- the reality of the relationship
- if the marriage took place abroad, it must be transcribed in the French register
- the situation on French territory
- material and emotional communion of life
- absence of criminal conviction
- fluency in French.

B. Parents or grandparents of a French person: direct ascendants of a French person can declare French nationality if they are over 65 years old and have been in France for more than 25 years.
C. Siblings of a French person: if you reside in France after your 6 years old and you are the sibling of a person born to foreign parents who acquired the French nationality, you can also declare your nationality.
